કોવિડ -19 રોગચાળા દરમિયાન શાળાઓ બંધ હોવા છતા શિક્ષણ ચાલુ રહે તે સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા રાજ્ય સરકારના શિક્ષણ વિભાગ દ્વારા વિવિધ હોમ લર્નિંગ પ્રયાસો હાથ ધરવામાં આવ્યા છે. વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પાઠયપુસ્તકો પહોંચાડવામાં આવ્યા છે, ધોરણ of ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે દૂરદર્શનની ડીડી ગિરનાર ચેનલ પર પ્રસારિત કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. 9 થી 12. ધો .6 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ. 1 થી 8 ને દર મહિને 'ચાલો ઘરે શીખીએ' પુસ્તિકા પણ આપવામાં આવે છે. ઘણી શાળાઓ વર્ચુઅલ વર્ગખંડો પણ ચલાવે છે. આ ઉપરાંત વંદે ગુજરાત ચેનલ અને યુટ્યુબ ચેનલ પર શૈક્ષણિક કાર્યક્રમો પણ જોઇ શકાય છે. તમામ માધ્યમનો ઉપયોગ કરી બાળક કેટલું શીખ્યો તેનું સામાયિક મૂલ્યાંકન કરવાનું નક્કી કરવામાં આવેલ છે.
